Formally Known As: Rusticana of the Isle of Wight
He is an elder statesman. No worries about sexual scandals as he was just neutered against his will. He is generally quiet and unassuming however he has a bit of sundowners and can get vocal at night. He will make an excellent Senior Advisor. He will not donate his salary, requires daily greenies and insists on being hand fed.
Renwick & family will always remember the love & joy Rusty brought into our lives.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
March 25, 2021 - Rusticana of the Isle of Wight passed into eternity today at the age of 14 ½ from complications of cushings disease. He was born on August 13, 2006 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Misty and Saki Hughes. He was adopted by his parents Reg and Cathy Carter and moved to Goldsboro, MD. He was welcomed (well not really welcomed but begrudgingly accepted) by his brother Dylan.
Rusty was known as Little Head, Sweet Baby and Baby Dog. He never much cared for toys, but loved nursing on the corner of his favorite blanky when he was little. He loved greenies, chicken treats and taking fat naps. He could tell time, and promptly notified you at 7PM when it was time for his greenie.
Rusty was a gentle, loving soul and loved all humans and every other shihtzu he met, but not many other dogs. The notable exceptions were his cousins Renny, Gracie and Tink. In the last few months he was a senior advisor for the failed doggie presidential campaign of his beloved cousin Renwick Pip.
We are comforted by the wonderful memories of our boy and know that he is now running, able to hear and see clearly and playing with Dylan and Keko. We hope there are greenies in Heaven and will miss you every day.
